Spencer H. Herman

Spencer is a 1979 graduate of New York Law School and admitted to both State and Federal Courts in New York, including the United States District Court, Southern District and Eastern District of New York, as well as the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit.

He began practicing as an associate attorney at Julien, Schlesinger and Finz, P.C., a prominent plaintiff’s firm, in lower Manhattan. He then worked for a short period of time as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the New York City Law Department, primarily in the Supreme Court, Bronx County.  Thereafter, from 1982-1999 Spencer continued his practice representing accident victims at the law firm of Hoberman & Sussman, P.C. in downtown Brooklyn where he began as an associate attorney and grew to become a named and equity partner at Hoberman, Sussman & Herman, P.C.  

In October 1999, he opened Law Offices of Spencer H. Herman, P.C. in Kew Gardens, NY, where he continues to represent individuals and families in wrongful death and personal injury cases.  He is Trial Counsel to attorneys in Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens and other counties in the Metropolitan New York area.  

Spencer is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, American Association of Justice, Brooklyn Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Bronx County Bar Association and Queens County Bar Association.
